Woodgate Beach prides itself on a 10 kilometre paved pathway along the length of The
Esplanade on the oceanside. This is perfect for those that enjoy cycling or walking
either day or night.
Naturally Woodgate thrives on its fishing. Fisherman have the opportunity to head to
sea, fish the local artificial reef, or venture into the many creeks and inlets which abound
in and around Woodgate.
Native fauna is plentiful at Woodgate, and visitors will be enchanted by the sight of wandering kangaroos and the abundance of native birds. For birdwatchers, a hide can be found within the National Park.
