Don't you just love Telstra....just get settled and they decide to change their plans or servers or something that totally stuffs you about.

Well, guess what...they done it again with the usual non-personalised letter than leaves you out in the cold with having to go searching for an alternative plan that gives you everything that you already have instead of saying well, we can supply the same thing but you will have to do this that or whatever.

At the end of the day this website will no longer be at this address after the 30TH SEPTEMBER and at this stage I am still looking at alternatives which may well look at just running an EBay shop only....but we will see.

All I can say at this stage is if you loose us after the 30TH SEPTEMBER please Google us for the new site or keep our Ebay site address in your favourites.

It's amazing really...you never hear from them (Telstra) unless they want to change your contract (yep, a contract) or your mobile phone contract finishes (as mine did recently). Then they are phoning you day and night wanting you to sign back up with them always without offering anything tangible other than another run of the mill plan.

Anyhow, had my gripe for the month so, how's your day been....mmmmm.

Keep those Chryslers on the road........

1990 XJ40 JAGUAR SOVEREIGN

Often wrongly thought of as un-reliable and expensive to run the XJ Jaguars have received bad press and not so good recognition however, when FORD brought Jaguar in 1986-87 the XJ40 was already on the planned release agenda.

Early XJ40's were underpowered and had "star wars" electronic dashes which gave problems of false errors etc.

1989 to 1994 saw FORD's influence by improving the cars out of sight with a 4.0 Litre engine and reliable electrics.

This particular XJ40 4.0 Litre Sovereign is my personal daily driver of which I am now selling ONLY because I have recently purchased a later model to replace it.

This car was imported from Singapore some years ago and is believed to be an ex Embassy car. It has been Australian compliance and has been a very reliable luxury vehicle.

In fact, the only problem I have had with the vehicle was a flat battery (4 months ago) and replacing the rear shockers (2 months ago) otherwise the car has been a dream to own and drive.

It turns heads where ever it goes and many a comment has been made on it.

Has all the Jaguar options of the time including;

• ABS 4 - wheel disc brakes

• Cruise control

• Electric seats, Arial and mirrors

• Intermittent wipers

• 4 speed ZF automatic trans with 1 to 1 lock over 80 KPH (very economical)
