British,  Persian & Exotic Outcrosses

At Jengari we currently do not breed British, Persian or Exotic kittens (but maybe one day!!)
We do have the pleasure of owning these breeds because they are outcrosses for our chosen breeds.    

British Shorthair and British Longhair are the outcross for both Selkirk Rex & Manx

Persian & Exotic are also outcrosses for breeding Selkirk Rex. It is the old style “open faced” Persians & Exotic’s that are preferred for breeding Selkirk Rex.

“Vino” is not a show quality Persian. He does not have the high nose, but he is a very handsome cat. He has solid boning and rounded head type just right for breeding Selkirk Rex. His Cameo Cream Colour is just beautiful.

Before we began breeding cats, the one cat I always knew I wanted was a White British. “Immy” is the mother of several Selkirk Rex kittens. We are very lucky to have such a lovely girl.
