A & F McIlreavy Books was established in Melbourne in 1978 by Alan & Fiona McIlreavy.
In the mid 1980's we returned to Scotland, where we opened a bookshop at South Street St. Andrews.
In 2000 we returned to Australia and opened a bookshop at Buderim in Queensland, the heart of ginger and fruit growing in the Sunshine Coast. One hour north of Brisbane, Buderim was recently voted the 3rd. best place in the world, after Aspen & Paris in a British Airways survey. We are 10 mins. from the Pacific Ocean.
