This site was designed
for both the experienced aviculturists and the up and coming new
aviculturists. The new comers to our hobby are very important for the
survival of aviculture, by giving as much information about the ways of
aviculture to them is a must, holding back information can only damage
our hobby in the long run.
All articles on this
website are my own originals, and are the copy write of Donpaulna Aviaries

I would like to thank
my good friend Anthony Catt (Critterlodge)
for his help with information on some of my articles and also for
giving me permission to photograph some of his great collection of
exotic parrots.
I would also like to
thank all those many friends that I have made over the many years that
I have been involved in aviculture, without good friends to help you
out you would definitely struggle in our great hobby. Making these
friends has been a big bonus for me, thank you all once again.

NOTE: (We no longer
keep any Asiatic species here at Donpaulna
Aviaries
. We have had great pleasure in breeding
& keeping Asiatic parrots over the many years that we have kept
them, but have now decided to concentrate only on Lorikeet, Lory
& Cockatoo species. We feel that by controlling the amount of
birds & bird species we have, we can look after our birds more
professionally and have a better healthier environment

for them.) Here at Donpaulna Aviaries we now keep
only Lorikeet's, Lory's & Cockatoo's, as well as some
Australian Reptiles.
