After many months of hand raising this cockatoo, it has turned out to
be a very tame bird indeed, it is truly a big sook and loves to be
around people. Many people have told me that the Red Tailed Black
Cockatoo makes the best pet cockatoo you can have, and after our
experience with this one that surely is a true statement to make.
Although this was our first attempt at hand raising a black cocky my
wife Donna assures me it wont be the last, she claims she will do them
all. It has been such an experience and pleasure for us that we have
now set up another pair of Red Tails, hopefully we will have the same
luck again.
