tion of created fabrics was brought into existence as a unit of creation, perfectly. We have already noted how God created man in His own likeness. How much more so, then, when the basic fabrics of man are modelled on the Creator, Himself
The Divine Generosity
How does one describe the absolute, the total, giving, that comes from the Father, the Son and the Spirit? No one is capable of the realisation of the full knowledge of such an ultimate outpouring! No human can grasp this pinnacle of knowledge, but we can explore; and we can catch a glimpse. Of course, the Divine generosity can be seen throughout history. Note the ability to seek Divine assistance throughout the Bible. The special nurturing of a select people of God (Israel) is a distinct sign of the generosity, being a deliberate plan towards perfecting all mankind. The numerous miracles brought about by impulse on the power of God, also throughout history, further highlights God's giving and of His participation in creation. Of course, the fact of the coming of the Son of God and of His sharing our humanity to the extent of a horrifying death even, proves the unlimited, eternal generosity of the Trinity. Let us presume that you have supreme power over one planet. You have absolute control; there is no competition. You have this supreme authority today, tomorrow and thereafter. Any enemy you might have realises that you are impregnable. Your authority is not subject to any test, to any election, to any test of power - you could not give it away if you tried! Now that you have such permanent authority, without challenge, how would you act towards friends? What can you give them? You have everything and you can't give everything away! You might decide to share your power and possessions to your friends, might you not? Perhaps you can't give what you have, then you can share, and, upon reflection, isn't sharing better than giving? God, of course, has such an absolute power and even more so, for He has not only created the entire universe but keeps it in existence from one moment to the next. Now, that IS absolute power. The whole purpose of creation can only be for this -
to ultimately share One's powers,
that is Love, Knowledge and Existence, with One's creatures; to share with One's creatures who can recognise, acknowledge and appreciate such a momentous, wondrous gift To create a universe for any lessor reason, actually takes away the reason for creation. Any lesser design for man renders creation meaningless and does not fulfil this item of truth - 'for His sake, for our sake'. In short, any lesser final design for mankind, than that of sharing the Divinity, is exactly that - lesser - and doing something lesser can not be associated with God. There is no purpose in creating what would be robot-like creatures without the power of total freewill, who are unable to freely choose; who are unable to recognise and acknowledge and appreciate their Creator. As we have noted, God created us for His sake, for our
