we do use only a portion of our mental, physical and spiritual capabilities. The plan of Jesus is to bring us to the point where we are able to reach our absolute potential which was, of course, dramatically reduced by sin - the introduction of evil. The works of Jesus and of His great Saints, give us an inkling of the powers of the human being as we were created. Yet God has much more in store for us. As we have considered, we are to be raised further, to the point that we may actually share in the powers of Divinity; persons as we are, joined individually, separately and distinct, in Christ, with the Persons of the Trinity. We are like whales acting out life as though we were minnows, unaware of our capacities or unable to grasp them. Untold powers lie at our fingertips, unseen and unused - unknown. But we see what Jesus did! The powers available to us can be brought forth by imitating Jesus Christ, by joining with Him, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. (John 14:6.6) By reaching out to the Father, though Jesus by the Spirit; by bringing our total being around towards God as a permanent position; our body, soul and person directed towards Him; then all these powers and more will be within our grasp. And Goodness, Truth and Love are the greatest powers available to us, on earth and in Heaven. Not that we face towards the Divine Being because we seek power, but because this is the natural situation for us to be in. This is the Divine Plan. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these will be given to us, as well. (Mat. 6:33,33)
