Miracles
In the way of thinking of most people, miracles are a direct action of God upon the spiritual and material creations. A miracle is seen as something supernatural rather than something natural as if a miracle comes from God in eternity, by a definite decision by Him, whereas He might just have decided not to allow the miracle. This is not the full explanation of miracles, at all. Miracles are a natural part of creation. Bear in mind that God has allowed that His gifts of Existence, Truth and Love be available for us to share. God places Himself within the law of impulse, as all He ever needed to do was done at the instant of creation. You might say, His Plan was fulfilled at the instant of creation, and, thereafter, He made His Powers available in reaction to impulse. Just as we have access to the powers of the spiritual sphere, so also do we have access to the Powers of the Spiritual. Prayer is the impulse and the means of access to spiritual power. Spiritual strength relies on the strength of the spirit, of course. Just as exercise builds up physical strength, prayer builds up our spiritual prowess. Prayer gives impulse to God because prayer is communication with God, and Jesus outlined how we should pray and the guidelines for our advancement in the spiritual sphere. As we expand our spiritual capacity, we expand our capacity to react and to give impulse within the spiritual creation, in the natural way of sanctity, of harmony. That is to say, performance of 'miracles' is within your capacity and mine. It is a matter of returning to the original statehood of man and his created perfection. We do this in Jesus. As we shall see in the chapter on 'God's Plan', mankind is now in a position to GO BEYOND THAT STATE. To become harmonious with God and so with creation, is the order of the day. To obtain, and to increase, our capacity to share Existence, Truth and Love, through communication with God (prayer), is THE purpose of mankind. In reaching this state of harmony with the Creator and with creation,
'miracles' are no surprise; nothing unexpected or out of the ordinary.
Jesus, the Christ, performed 'miracles' as an everyday thing, even as the apostles did and millions upon millions of persons, since. Miracles, after all, are reactions that overcome evil or disharmony, by the power of God. So, eventually, it is our purpose to live in a continuous miracle; that is, continuous harmony, continuous perfection as created man, raised to share in Divinity.
Energies
There are three basic fabrics - created material, created spiritual, and uncreated Spiritual. There are three basic energies attaching to each of these. The tri-energies comply to the one basic law: impulse; reaction to reaction. That is to say, the energies of the material and of the spiritual spheres comply to the law of impulse. More importantly, God has placed His energies in similar compliance
