Sanctity: Evil

When the first of mankind, Adam and Eve, were given the state of intelligence and authority so as to be supreme upon the planet, events took a new shape.

So, sanctity is participating in the harmony of existence, knowledge and love of the material universe and of the spiritual universe and,

as a result, also to participate
in the spiritual Harmony of God.

Sanctity is a return to the natural order of things. Sanctity is being what we were created to be, perfectly.

Evil

Evil is not a natural part of creation. Evil could be said, perhaps, to be a natural result of creation. Evil was not created by God, although it was anticipated by Him.
We will look at
why there is evil in the chapter on 'God's Plan' and here we will look at what it is and how it came about
The creation of the spiritual world includes the creatures  who are purely and only spirit. These creatures, angels, were also created, perfectly.
Of these angels, one stood out in his glory, power, intelligence and beauty - Lucifer (Satan). He shared the created,
spiritual existence, knowledge and love to the highest degree.
(Before, we proceed on this point, it is necessary to recall that, in this seemingly limitless universe, there are possibly millions of planets or other bodies that may contain intelligent life to the extent that we know it - including spiritual life with the potential of sharing the Gifts of God.)
It may be, also, that mankind is alone. In which case, the evil in creation began on planet Earth.
Because Lucifer was created an angel, perfectly, he did not know evil. He had no evil in him. He was aware of the great stature of his person, however. Of all the beings created by God there was one who stood out over all. This was Lucifer.
We are aware from Scripture that Lucifer was somehow supreme amongst the Angels, but why is this?
It has occurred to me that the devil was created superior to the other Angels and that this supremacy came about because he was created in precise imitation of The Trinity, that is to say, three persons in one being. There could only be one such Angel, one would presume and so the devil was clearly superior. This might also explain why the devil is also called Satan and Beelzebub - names for the three persons.
(When the devil demoted himself to hell, that then left his supreme position vacant. Could it then be that God replaced him with another Angel of the same superiority - Raphael, Gabriele, Michael?)
When the first of mankind, Adam and Eve, were given the state of intelligence and authority so as to be supreme upon the planet, events took a new shape.

A new condition appeared
within creation;
a new impulse.

Here were beings of high mentality and capability. Here were beings whose adoration was of worth.
God, Himself, placed great priority with them.
Yet, these beings appeared to be of lesser capability than the Angels.
The opportunity for Satan to become a god to such beings was the impulse before him. The opportunity to break the law of sanctity, to offend the Source of sanctity, was attrac
